[Dress: Forever 21, Laced up boots: Zara, Bag: Prada]
I am not used to wearing mullet dresses because I am afraid that it would be too long for me because I was not gifted with long legs. My legs and height are at the top of my endless list of insecurities. I am really not confident with my body cause I am not skinny and tall and I have a lot of flaws to hide. But hey, no one is perfect and these flaws I have define me as an individual so I dared to flaunt my flaws.
During our Hong Kong trip this semestral break, we visited Disneyland. I've been there a couple of times but I still get that excited, giddy feeling whenever I get out of the Mickey Mouse train. I am a true blue Disney fan since I can remember and just seeing the disney princesses makes me feel like a kid again. That place really never gets old for me and I can say that no one is too old to enjoy Disneyland.
When I was a kid, I dreamt of having my own castle and prince charming. I guess becoming a princess is every little girl's dream come true. Cinderella is one of the disney classics that I grew up watching and I still get excited whenever I see her in disney parades. Haha.
Finally, I had the time to post again after a busy semester. It's FINALLY my semestral break! Woot. And so right after my last exam, me and my college friends (who are all working now) went to a little getaway at our friend's resort in Laguna with our boyfriends. I have finally got my much awaited and much deserved weekend vacay!
Spirals and spikes.
Recently, I've been obsessed with neon colors. It makes everything alive for me.
These yellow babies are super comfy and it makes my skin color glow. This is now my new favorite pair!
Neon pink top: Mango
High waist floral shorts: Pink Manila
Necklace: Forever 21
So tell me, how did you spend your first day of vacay? xx
The London Olympics just ended a few weeks ago and I must say that both their opening and closing ceremonies were superb! But my favorite part was when THE Spice Girls reunited and performed some of their hit songs which were my ultimate favorites when I was a kid.
I literally grew up singing and dancing to the songs of these fab girls whom I really idolized. I remember memorizing the dance steps to the song "Stop" and dancing it with my playmates and busmates. I also remember buying those spice girls lollipops which has a collectible sticker inside. The lollipops tasted so bad but I ate it anyway cos I was trying to collect and fill my sticker album with those spice girls stickers! (Oh the simple joys of being a kid..) My favorite was Baby Spice and I even remember arguing with my playmates/classmates because we all wanted to become baby spice! Haha.
So you're probably wondering why I am suddenly reminiscing and talking about the spice girls. Well, while I was browsing my photos, I suddenly remembered Geri Halliwell. My outfit kinda reminded me of her costume in one of the spice girls' concert back in 1997, and that brought so many childhood memories of me going gaga over these girls! Haha.
Hello! I missed my blog! I've been MIA for the past three weeks. I really wanted to blog about a lot of things but my busy schedule and my gazillion schoolworks won't allow me.
Decided to take photos indoors cause my mom's too afraid to go out because of the "dengue outbreak" here in our place. Good thing we decided not to take photos outside cause then I wouldn't discover this nice spot to shoot in our house.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
I've been searching for this pair of heels for the longest time. Thank God, I finally found one and it was on sale! But the problem is it's two sizes bigger and there are just two pairs left. Decided to buy it anyway cause I fell in love with it! Haha.
What I love about this pair: They're super fab, very colorful and is very comfortable to wear.
If I were to compare my closet with a thing, it would be a piano blotted with colors. My wardrobe is full of black and white pieces cause for me, they are a lot easier to mix and match but lately I'm trying to experiment and fill it with colorful pieces cause I'm trying to channel my inner Katy Perry and barbie (haha).
